The power of music.
Music is a pervasive force in our society today, it has the capacity to evoke and provoke emotions and feelings like no other medium. Andrew Zuckerman’s most recent project ‘Music’ beautifully encapsulates the power of this universally spoken language as he delves deep into the core of this mysterious art form.
This intimate project features over fifty artists, spanning a range of genres, including Lenny Kravitz, Ozzy Osbourne, Herbie Hancock, and Philip Glass. Each artist offers a meaningful insight into how music binds us together and covers subjects such as inspiration, collaboration, performance and success.
Exquisitely shot, the project is documented in Zukerburg’s minimalistic signature style and is available as a book, a feature-length film and an iPad app.

Stand out posters.
In today’s competitive music industry, you need to do more to stand out. And stand out is exactly what upcoming band ‘Dry the River’ did. Their beautiful 3D posters created quite a stir and featured across a number of well-known design and advertising blogs as well as receiving attention on the streets.
The flat, poster component was beautifully screen printed by Bob Eight Pop in east London and the paper horse structures were designed in 3D using Google Sketch Up, before being printed out in their component parts and hand-assembled. Each horse structure took around 35 hours to complete.
Brands take note. I’m expecting to see a lot more of this come 2012.
